For ten years, the laboratory from which the idea of the NOW Assembly grew has been the annual interdisciplinary festival held at the residence of the Dolphin Embassy on Tenerife, the Canary Islands. During this time, many eminent scientists, thinkers, specialists in sustainable development and biodiversity, ecologists, anthropologists, musicians and filmmakers have participated.

The headquarters for the preparation of the NOW Assembly is also located here.

For the time of preparation of second edition of the Assembly second residence was established in Tbilisi, Georgia.
